It was made from gold that has been refined in a clean water process certified by Stuller. It also uses lab grown corundum, the mineral commonly known as Sapphire and Ruby, depending on color. Lab grown Sapphire is chemically identical to the natural mined Sapphire. But, causes no mining damage to the environment and is completely conflict-free.
