It was made from gold that has been refined in a clean water process and certified by Stuller. It also uses lab grown corundum, the mineral commonly known as Sapphire and Ruby, depending on color. Lab grown corundum is chemically identical to natural corundum, but causes no mining damage to the environment and is completely conflict-free.
